I told Andy’s sister that his work is as shallow as a kiddie pool. Oh I did.

But he keeps stating - “it is in the shallow pool where the imagination can truly awaken”.

What does that even mean?

Andy is a former film and television creative from Hollywood, who finally got tired of all the “irony”, “sarcasm”, and daddy issues then escaped to Austin where he now makes his arty stuff full time in the studio. Do you know how much plumbers make these days?

Oh, he has admitted, “this is not a brand-new sensibility” yet still seems convinced it will “take you somewhere else.”

Was I too hard on him?

No, he needed every bit of it. Believe me!

So if you like this kind of stuff and buy into his whole “sparking the imagination” theory, then you should reach out to him. Because he won’t call you, trust me.

But he’s still a good boy. Ask anyone!
